Story
Hi, I'm Mikki, meet my heart horse, Sinful, we’ve been best friends since I was 11 years old. When he was diagnosed with EPM a few years ago, I was struggling to find therapies that could help him. As a very sensitive horse, I knew I wanted something nonevasive yet effective. When he responded so well to being taped, I knew I was on to something.
Seeing the positive results taping has given not only Sinful but the other horses at my barn, I got certified. With that, it’s my hope that I can continue to bring the relief and support taping has brought them to all horses.
How does it work?
When the tape is applied to your horses coat it gently lifts the skin as it recoils. This lifting action creates more room in the underlying tissue, which enhances the flow of blood and lymphatic fluid, boosting circulation. The expanded space enables the tape to reach deeper layers of tissue, offering relief from pressure and pain.
